Hello everyone, new to the volvo forums! I have a 1998 volvo V70XC AWD, 2.5l turbocharged, now a few months back, heater core blew and created a headgasket leak (wasn't me driving it), anyways.. i did a head job, and got it running, it ran fine! now engine light came on, got a buddy of myne to check it and he pulled up two codes;ECM-6860: Turbocharger Control Valve and ECM-644: Camshaft reset valve, now, lately the engine shakes and sputters every once in a while and car wastes gas like crazy... someone told me that it was the timing belt, that it was wrong, but I know enought about engines to know that if it was the timing belt.. it would be doing it ALL the time.. not every once in a while.. Can anyone point me on the right direction here? any ideas? I have a feeling that it is going to be a bad coil, and what is the "turbocharger Control Valve" and that there is a camshaft sensor that needs to be adjusted or something...
thanks for the help.. I love this thing! take it everywhere, great for the snow!! |

At least for North American models - Where are you? Is this a Euro model? This post has been edited by bejinfbk: Jul 30 2010, 06:08 PM |
