I've got a sticking front passenger brake caliper and was planning on replacing both the brake line and the caliper with a rebuilt one. My car is a '98 R with a little over 140k miles on it. However, the FCP Groton website does not list the 98 R as one fo the cars for it's different brake products. It has the 99, the '00 as well as the '98 to '00 for the AWD, T5, X/C, and base models. Will any of these models match the caliper, hose, and fittings for my '98 R? While I'm at it, should I replace the line and caliper on the driver side as well considering the age and mileage of the car?

IIRC, go with the '98 AWD and it should all match right up.
Unless a PO upgraded to 302mm discs from the '00's from the stock '98 280mm rotors, you should be fine. |
